Bradford Ranger Station
Allegheny National Forest, Bradford, PA

This client was the US Forest Service, US Department of Agriculture, Milwaukee, WI. The building was designed to showcase wood design and products. The building was a large addition to a smaller existing building. The building contains tourist information center, park police offices, oil and gas lease offices, timber sales offices, and related facilities.

The building is heated with a tri-fuel system: oil, gas, and wood.

The rear tower is the radio tower for the entire National Forest.

The building was the winner of a 1986 National Design Award from the Society of American Registered Architects.
