Golden Dome
at the Community College of Beaver County
Center Township, Beaver County, PA

Roger A. Weaver, Architect was the Project Architect for this recreational facility on the Campus of the Community College of Beaver County. The project utilized a pre-engineered aluminum geodesic structure.

Completed in 1978, the project provides a 232 foot free span area for basketball, tennis, convocations, car shows, special events concerts, and other activities. This project is the first and only geodesic dome constructed in Pennsylvania and was bid and constructed under the auspices of the State Public School Building Authority.
